| What’s better than winning a free Pink Slip Racer AutoFest GreenLight Chevelle Event Car? How about winning that along with a Johnny Lightning factory pre-production sample car! This casting is one of the Grand Prize offerings and is none other than the 1969 Shelby Mustang in the Zinger format. Casting number 842-Z from the Street Freaks collection, release number one. How is it different from the retail released version? First off the engine bay is done in gloss black. If you take a look at the bottom of the chassis you’ll see no” legals” printed on the underside. The gold writing is the log in information that Sue at Playing Mantis used to make sure all the sample cars were replaced and returned to the correct spot. This is THE car Playing Mantis used as it’s very own sample base. To top it off, the lead design specialist, Tony Karamitsos for that job, also autographed the top of the car. Tony will be on hand at the show as well to autograph any items you might have for him to sign. Gerald Endres promises some great racing for the PSR venue this year. He says the sealed blister GreenLight Chevelle well bring back lots of excitement for the event as you have more than one way to win a PSR casting and all the heat winners get to battle it out for one of the Grand Prizes shown here. This version was a test mule used by the Playing Mantis staff and is in incomplete form but is another rare item and Holy Grail for many collectors to want. Can there really be a loser when the official Pink Slip Racer prize casting is the factory prepared GreenLight Chevelle?
